In 2009 Simon Smithson and Jonathan Wilson established "think architecture+design" born out of their close working relationship developed over a period of 15 years together at careyjones architects. Having developed a reputation for the design and delivery of innovative buildings and masterplans think architecture+design will allow Simon and Jonathan to build on their creative partnership, draw from shared experience and allow the continued pursuit of their passion for architecture and design.

In September 2009 think architecture+design took office space in Leeds LS1. One year later with the ever increasing workload Sarah Dabbs joined the practice and her position of designer directly reflects her broad range of design skills and interests from the micro to the macro.
